Kids & Art Founder Purvi Shah writes in her blog about Myriad's event for this great cause: SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE AND ATTEND AN INSPIRING EVENING CONCERT, HOSTED BY FAMILY-OWNED MYRIAD MUSIC SCHOOL AND DANCE ACADEMY! For Kids & Art this is a very bitter sweet event. Our Founders son Amaey was a Myriad Music School student since he was 2. His love for music started at a very young age. Here is a video that was created for Myriad school for Amaey's Piano 4 graduation. Amaey could not physically attend the concert because he had relapsed with a chemo induced AML and needed to undergo a bone marrow transplant at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. However, he was a very conscientious child. Being in the hospital did not mean he asked for a free pass, instead he asked for a keyboard for his hospital room and he practiced everyday. This video is a culmination of all his years at Myriad with the final piece, "The Spanish Caballero" being mastered in the hospital.

We are fundraising for one of our favorite local charities, Kids & Art. The concert will feature Myriad’s own amazing teachers, together with select Spotlight Students. Suggested donation of $15 per adult and $10 per child will be collected at the door. Let’s make this an amazing community event!
